The Betfair betting grid can be accessed from the Main menu -> View -> Classic Grid link or by clicking the icon on the tool strip.

In-play flag shows when the event has started and has moved to an in-running event. The BetGizmo in-play flag also shows the amount of delay that Betfair are imposing for bets placed on the in-play event.

Selection name of the runner in this event. When the mouse is placed over the name, the Betfair activity graph is displayed.

Profit / Loss displays the current profit ( in green ) or loss ( in red ) that will occur if this selection '''wins'''.

Matched so far shows how much money has been matched on this event so far.

Stake is a user field that can be changed to the desired stake. This enables quick single-click betting as a stake does not need to be entered.

Place a bet

To place a bet simply left click on the cell that represents the bet required, e.g. back or lay side at whatever price is required. The bet will then be placed with Betfair and the cell clicked will momentarily turn gold. The stake size submitted is selected by the stake field and can be changed at any time before bet submission.

A bet confirmation message may appear depending on your settings. However, if the bet is placed with a right mouse click a bet confirmation message will always appear irrespective of the bet confirmation settings. This is of great value when a non-grid odds bet needs to be placed.

View graphs

The Betfair activity graph can be displayed by hovering over the selection name. Once displayed, the graph will update every few seconds. The graph will disappear once the mouse is moved away.
