The History

BetGizmo was originally developed for and by a number of Betfair traders to use as a their own private Betfair betting and bet trader tool. It is a carefully crafted, feature-rich Betfair trading tool and until recently was not available to the public, only the BetGizmo team had access to this Betfair software tool.

During the winter of 2007 the BetGizmo team decided to make the Betfair trading tool available to the Betfair betting community. This decision was taken for two reasons;

  • Charging a small amount for others to use BetGizmo would help fund further developments of the application which would also be made available to the Betfair betting community.

  • A wider usage of BetGizmo would also help improve liquidity on Betfair markets, which would benefit all Betfair traders large or small.

 

About application

The roadmap for BetGizmo has always been to create a single feature rich multi-functional Betfair betting application. As the BetGizmo team develop or become aware of profit making opportunities on Betfair these new techniques are then included into the tool for all to use.

 

Why the name BetGizmo

The original team of Betfair trading and Betfair scalping users called the Betfair software tool they developed “The Gizmo” and the dictionary definition for a Gizmo is “a device or control that is very useful for a particular job”.  Hence the name stuck and BetGizmo was born.
