When we polled BetGizmo users about how the screen should be laid out it became clear that there were as many answers as people that were asked. It was therefore decided to make the display completely user configurable by implementing a docking system. This enables each user to configure what is displayed and where. This method also enables the BetGizmo team to add features that the user can then decide to use or keep hidden.
The docking system may seem complex when first used, but it is quickly mastered and very powerful in displaying just what each user wishes to see. And what's even better is BetGizmo remembers your last docking screen configuration when you restart the application.
The images below are just two examples of possible screen layouts.
Moving forms within the docking system
When a form is selected to be displayed from the tool strip or main menu it will appear in a default location. The form can then be "picked up", moved and re-positioned in any location the user decides.
To pick a form up, hold the left mouse button on the form tab located at the top of the form ( shown below ). The form will then be carried by the mouse while the mouse button is pressed and dropped when the mouse button is released.

Once the form has been picked up it can be moved anywhere inside ( or outside ) the docking pane. The form currently being re-positioned is displayed as a shaded blue box. The image below shows a form while it is being re-positioned.

While the form is "grabbed" by the mouse visual indicators will appear on the screen showing where the form can be placed. By moving the mouse over one of the visual indicators and releasing the left mouse button, the form will automatically be docked back into the docking pane in the position selected.
The visual prompts that may be displayed while the form is being moved are shown below.
